About This Primary Resource

A brilliant resource full of ideas about teaching Maths in the Early Years and bringing numbers to life. At this young age children are naturally inquisitive and absorb knowledge like a sponge, so keep the activities interactive and help them to have fun exploring the world of maths.

This resource has been very kindly shared with us by Classroom Carrots, a brilliant website that helps teachers to manage behaviour, motivate pupils and encourage engagement through a colourful, easy to use online app. Classroom Carrots is an easy way to reward good behaviour in your class by awarding virtual stickers to and deducting points for bad behaviour.

This website is completely free to use and we love it! Go to the Classroom Carrots website to find out more.

As an NQT this site has been a lifesaver. The resources have saved me loads of time and the forest school activities have been particularly useful. Thanks!

I really enjoy putting together eye-catching displays in my classroom and ELHQ always has lots of colourful and engaging material to choose from.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.

All of the story resources have been put to good use in our library corner, especially during World Book Day. Keep up the good work!
