Food Colour Matching Game
About This Primary Resource
A fun food themed game designed to help children build their colour recognition and matching skills. The gameplay is quite short and the rules are simple – ideal for young learners.
In order to play you must first assemble the colour ‘spinner’ provided in the pdf download. Each player must spin the spinner and collect a food card that matches the colour the spinner stops on. If it stops on a multicoloured segment then the player can choose any card. The winner is the player who collects all of the colours on their board. The game features 11 different colours and depicts a variety of different foods – from fruit and vegetables to cake and meat. It can be played with up to 6 players at a time.
