Weather Picture Cards

About This Primary Resource

Versatile picture cards depicting different weather conditions. Pupils can select the appropriate card to describe the day’s weather. This can be done simply by selecting the appropriate page or you may wish to cut and laminate the pictures and descriptive words and ask pupils to match the pictures to the words. The children in each picture are dressed in appropriate clothes so that children are encouraged to think about the temperature as well as the obvious weather signs. Each of the pictures used in this resource is also available as an individual jpeg in our ‘photos and illustrations section’. You are welcome to use these pictures to create your own individual resources.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
