Dinosaur Maths Game- 'All about 10'

About This Primary Resource

A dinosaur themed maths game designed to help show the different ways that the number ten can be formulated. Players must take turns to spin the spinner with the aim of collecting ten dinosaur cards from the colour category on their board. To finish they must spin a combination of numbers that totals exactly ten. So for example, if the spinner lands on 4 and then on their second turn it lands on 5, the player would need it to eventually land on 1 in order to complete the board. If it landed on any other number they would have to try again on their next turn.

We also have versions of this game that focus on numbers 6 and 8.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
