About This Primary Resource

This lesson plan aims to introduce children to the concept of first aid and will help them to assess the situation calmly and not put themselves at risk. They will learn how to identify any potential threats and how to tell if an area if safe before helping somebody in need of first aid. This lesson plan is intended to take around 40-60 minutes and includes separate activities for KS1 and KS2.
