Doubles / Doubling Game To 5

Doubles / Doubling Game To 5

About This Primary Resource

A fun and engaging board game designed to help familiarise children with the concept of doubling numbers. Players must take turns to roll a die and move along the board. They must then double the number they land on and say the number aloud. If they say the correct answer they can stay on the rectangle they landed on, but if they don’t say the correct answer they must move back 2 spaces. The download includes an A4 version as well as a large version.

This game covers numbers 1 to 5 but we also have versions covering numbers 1 to 10 and 1 to 20.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
