Snow White

Snow White is a very well-known fairy tale that was originally written by the Brothers Grimm in the 19th century, and was turned into a cartoon by Disney in 1937. The story tells the tale of a young maiden called Snow White and her wicked Step Mother, who is very jealous of the young girl’s beauty. The Step Mother orders the Huntsman to kill Snow White, but upon meeting her he cannot do it and tells Snow White to run away and hide herself in the woods. Here the young maiden meets 7 dwarves who protect her until she is finally caught by her Step Mother and put into a deep sleep. Eventually a handsome Prince rescues Snow White and they live happily ever after.

This section contains an extensive collection of teaching resources to support the teaching of this wonderful fairy-tale.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
