Literacy Resources

We have many quality resources to promote language, literacy and communication skills, all of which are completely free to download. These include several alphabet designs, letter formation sheets, wall displays to help with letter confusion, themed notepaper to encourage mark-making / handwriting  as well as many resources for the DFES Letters and Sounds phonics programme. However, if you have an idea for a literacy resource that you cannot find on the site then please get in touch, we are always keen to hear new ideas.

Alphabet

A collection of alphabet related primary teaching resources, ideal to use to encourage reading and writing development in the foundation stage (EYFS) and key stage one (KS1).

Letters & Sounds Phase 1

A collection of printable resources relating to phase 1 of the DFES Letters and Sounds programme. Resources include: phase 1 voice sounds, phoneme fans, varying syllable picture cards and words with 2 or 3 phonemes.

A collection of printable writing resources designed to help children with letter formation.
