Animals Maths Game: All About 8

About This Primary Resource

This game is designed to build an awareness of the different ways that the number 8 can be formulated. Simply ask the children to collect all the pictures in their category and then say "You have x number of cards - how many more do you need to make 8?" To collect the animal cards the child must take turns to spin the spinner. To complete their board the child must spin a combination of numbers that totals exactly 8.
