Metal Mike Phonics Bingo (Simplified Version)
About This Primary Resource
A set of Metal Mike Bingo cards. Each player has a base card with three pictures and a space for the words underneath. The adult or an older child pushes the word card through Metal Mike’s slot from the back and speaks the word in robot talk followed (after a small pause) with the whole word. The child who has the corresponding picture puts the word card under the picture on their base card. After a bit of practice your child should be able to identify the word before you say it. This game is good for practicing segmenting and blending and winning depends on luck not skill.
