Weather STP Week 9 – How are the trees changing?

Weather STP Week 9

About This Primary Resource

Part 9 of 9

A very detailed short term plan on the topic of the weather. It covers activity ideas and continuous provision suggestions for a whole week. Focuses on the questions: "How are the trees changing?" And "what festivals do we celebrate in Autumn?"

It is the final short term plan in a series of 9 on the topic of the weather. It was created by Kerry Moody, an experienced EYFS teacher and manager in a school with outstanding early years provision. She has also created some fantastic Medium Term Plans on the same theme. In addition we have a large collection of weather themed printable teaching resources in the themes section of our website.

Really useful for the Autumn term, especially for discussing the changing seasons.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
