Traditional Tales STP Week 1 – How can we keep ourselves fit?

Traditional Tales Short Term Plan Week 1 (EYFS)

About This Primary Resource

Part 1 of 5

A very detailed short term plan on the topic of Traditional Tales. It features Traditional Tale themed activity ideas and continuous provision suggestions for a whole week. Focuses on the question "How can we keep ourselves fit and healthy?"

It is the first of five Traditional Tale themed short term weekly plans. It was created by Kerry Moody, an experienced EYFS teacher and manager in a school with outstanding early years provision. She has also created some fantastic Medium Term Plans on the same theme. In addition we have many Traditional Tale themed printable resources in the stories section of our website.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.

As an NQT this site has been a lifesaver. The resources have saved me loads of time and the forest school activities have been particularly useful. Thanks!

All of the story resources have been put to good use in our library corner, especially during World Book Day. Keep up the good work!
