About This Primary Resource

A comprehensive short term plan on the topic of fairy tales. It features various fairy tale themed activity ideas and continuous provision suggestions for a whole week. Focuses on the questions " How tall will your beanstalk grow?” and “ Who helped to pull the enormous turnip out of the ground?”

It is the fifth of seven short term weekly plans on this topic created by Kerry Moody (an experienced EYFS teacher and manager in a school graded as outstanding by OFSTED). Kerry has also created some wonderful fairy tale Medium Term Plans to accompany these STPs. In addition we have many relevant fairy tale printable resources in the story section of our website.

As an NQT this site has been a lifesaver. The resources have saved me loads of time and the forest school activities have been particularly useful. Thanks!

All of the story resources have been put to good use in our library corner, especially during World Book Day. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoy putting together eye-catching displays in my classroom and ELHQ always has lots of colourful and engaging material to choose from.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
