Daily Calendar

About This Primary Resource

Versatile daily calendar that will help familiarise children with the days of the week and months of the year. It is designed to be used interactively, with pupils selecting the appropriate labels (year, date, weekday, month) and affixing them to the display page.

Please note, this resource has been updated for use from 2017 onwards.

I think we should reinforce date and month at morning circle, and also leave them on the wall.

I am so excited about your website! i have been searching for something like this for so long. I used to live in the uk and am now running a small daycare in Canada and resources like this are so hard to come by here. Thank you for providing such great info, printables and wonderful ideas!

This is a very colourful resource indeed. However, I would also make an easier and straightforward version of this Daily Calendar for Nursery and Reception as children can’t really focus that much. For example, you can make the font bigger, delete the words inside the boxes and just put one single word (for the place where you put the month, just put Month). What I am saying is that smaller children will find this distracting throughout the day, and maybe a bit too hard to understand? Otherwise, this Calendar is perfect!!

As an NQT this site has been a lifesaver. The resources have saved me loads of time and the forest school activities have been particularly useful. Thanks!

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
