African Game 4: Mokou

African Game 4: Mokou

About This Primary Resource

This game is very popular in Lesotho and in deprived areas of Africa because it doesn’t need any sports equipment to play it. All you need is a ball (or a plastic bag ball) and a selection of rocks. The aim of the game is to build up your pile of rocks higher than the other teams without being hit by the ball. Once all your players have been hit it is the end of the game, and the team without the highest pile of rocks wins.
