Chinese New Year

A collection of primary teaching resources ideal to use as part of classroom displays during your Chinese New Year Celebrations. This section is updated every year to reflect the relevant animal of the Chinese zodiac and has a variety of wall displays, as well as a snake themed photo pack, so you can welcome the Chinese New Year into your classroom. We have many resources (like our Chinese New Year photo pack) that are universal and can be used every year, others are specific to to a particular animal of the Chinese zodiac.

Please note that 2014 is the year of the horse. Chinese New Year will be celebrated on 31st January 2014.

This site provides brilliant EYFS resources that I regularly use in my early years setting. All the material is bright and colourful and is great to use as part of displays. My class especially like the Elmer the Elephant section!

I love all the KS1 teaching resources from ELHQ and use them all the time at school (and at home!). The role-play section is a particular favourite, especially all the pirate related stuff.

ELHQ is definitely my first stop for teaching resources for my KS1 class, as they have such a varied choice and the quality of their pictures is always amazing!
