Chinese New Year

Here you will find a collection of primary teaching resources ideal to use during your Chinese New Year celebrations. This section is updated every year to reflect the relevant animal of the Chinese zodiac and has a variety of resources that can be used for Chinese New Year themed games, displays and activities. We have many resources (like our Chinese New Year Topic CardsChinese New Year Photo Pack and Mandarin / Chinese Number Track) that are universal and can be used every year. Others are specific to a particular animal of the Chinese zodiac.

Please note that 2016 is the year of the Monkey. Chinese New Year will be celebrated on Monday the 8th of February 2016.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.
