Train Maths Game – All about 8

About This Primary Resource

A train themed maths game designed to help children develop an awareness of the different ways that the number 8 can be formulated. Each player has a board designed for different colour trains - orange, grey, red, blue or green. Players must collect 8 train cards matching the colour on their board by taking turns to spin the spinner. To complete their board they must spin a combination of numbers that totals exactly 8. So, if for example the spinner lands on 4 and then 3 the player would need it to eventually land on 1 in order to complete the board.
