Superhero Maths Game: All About 8
About This Primary Resource
A fun and engaging game designed to build an awareness of the different ways that the number 8 can be formulated. The objective is for each player to collect 8 cards matching the colour shown on their board by taking turns to spin the spinner. To complete their board they must spin a combination of numbers that totals exactly 8. Suggested question to ask when playing the game: "You have x number of cards - how many more do you need to make 8?"
We have versions on our site where the aim is to collect either 6 or 10 cards. We also have versions of the game in many other popular early years themes.
