About This Primary Resource

This lesson plan will help your pupils understand how Christmas in Africa differs from celebrations elsewhere. Activities include building an African Advent Tree and creating decorations for it with different tasks to complete relating to African culture i.e. eating something new like a mango or finding out something you didn’t know about an African country.

This resource has been kindly shared with us by Lessons from Africa, which is the education programme run by the charity Send a Cow.
