Play, Progress & Achievement: Exploring Learner-Centred Practice 3-5yrs

Play Progress Achievement

I’d like to draw everyone’s attention to a really interesting conference organised by the national organisation Early Excellence. It is called Play, Progress & Achievement: Exploring Learner- Centred Practice 3-5yrs and it is specifically aimed at Senior leaders, co-ordinators and practitioners working with children 3-5yrs.

It promises to be a very illuminating event with 2 fantastic keynote speakers:

–          Professor dr. Ferre Laevers, (Director of the Research Centre for Experiential Education, University of Leuven, Belgium)

–          Jan Dubiel (National Development Manager, Early Excellence).

The primary aim of the event is to provoke thinking about the nature and impact of child-centred pedagogy. It will involve interactive displays, small group discussions and practical workshops that provide opportunity to raise questions and reflect on best practice. It will also provide an opportunity for delegates to gain insight into the work of Professor dr. Ferre Laevers who is regarded as an authority on the subject of emotional wellbeing and involvement.
