KS1 Dance/Drama Activity: Emotions/Gestures
About This Primary Resource
This is a very simple KS1 dance/drama exercise that is ideal to use as an icebreaker or as a starter activity. It will help the children to think about the different shapes they make with their bodies and also become more aware of emotions and facial gestures.
This activity was created by Caroline Newman, aka The Dance Lady, an experienced dance and fitness instructor. She teaches a variety of fun and engaging fitness classes and can provide lesson plans, resources and schemes of work to help teachers develop skills to teach through dance.
