Journeys & Transport STP Week 6 – Where in the world would you like to go?

About This Primary Resource

A very thorough short term plan on the topic of ‘Journeys and Transport’. It features various transport themed activity ideas and continuous provision suggestions for a whole week. It focuses on the question "Where in the world would you like to go and how would you get there?”

It is the last of six short term weekly plans on this topic created by Kerry Moody (an experienced EYFS teacher and manager in a school graded as outstanding by OFSTED). Kerry has also created some equally detailed ‘Journeys and Transport’ themed Medium Term Plans to accompany these STPs. In addition we have many relevant printable resources in the vehicles section of our website.

The bright colours and clear images are brilliant for my SEN pupils. For a lot of the children routines are really important, so the visual timetable in particular has been a big hit.

As an NQT this site has been a lifesaver. The resources have saved me loads of time and the forest school activities have been particularly useful. Thanks!

All of the story resources have been put to good use in our library corner, especially during World Book Day. Keep up the good work!
