I cannot open the PDF
Please make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe reader (It is completely free to download): http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
How do I resize the PDF document?
If you would like to reduce the print size of our PDF resources and print more than 1 image per page then simply: Open the relevant document in Adobe Reader and click on the print icon. You should see a drop down menu next to ‘page scaling’ – select the ‘multiple pages per sheet’ option.
The edges of the PDF document are lost when I print.
Open the relevant document in Adobe Reader and click on the print icon. You should see a drop down menu next to ‘page scaling’ – select ‘Fit to printable area’.
I like one of the pictures used in your resources and I want to use it to create my own bespoke resource. Am I permitted to do this and if so how do I get the picture on it’s own?
Not only do we allow you to use our pictures to create your own custom resources but we actively encourage you to do so (as long as it is not for commercial purposes). All of the pictures that we use in our resources are available to download as individual jpegs in our photos section.
How do I incorporate one of your jpegs in to my word document?
If you intend to use one of our pictures in a word document it is probably best that you download the smaller version of the picture. After it has downloaded right click the image and select ‘copy’. Open word – right click the page and select ‘paste’ (alternatively click ctrl v). If you intend to include text alongside the picture it is probably best that you set ‘text wrapping’ to ‘tight’ in order to allow the text to wrap around the image. To do this in Word 2007 simply right click the image and scroll down to ‘text wrapping’, then select ‘tight’. To do this is older versions of Word right click the image and then select ‘format object’ and then ‘layout’. Set ‘wrapping style’ to ‘tight’.
